NANCE DICCIANI, Ph.D. ’69 COE

Dicciani is one of Villanova’s most distinguished alumni, having served on the University’s Board of Trustees and the most recent recipient of its St. Thomas of Villanova Alumni Medal. Dicciani graduated Villanova with a chemical engineering degree and has gone on to hold significant leadership positions in business development, international operations, manufacturing, research & development, and engineering at Air Products, Honeywell, and Rohm and Hass. Dicciani has an MS in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia and earned both an MBA and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Linde PLC, Halliburton, LyondellBasell, AgroFresh Solutions, Rockwood Holdings, Inc., and PPL Corporation. It is no surprise that Dicciani has been named twice as one of “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” by Forbes magazine. Five years ago, Dicciani co-founded medical device startup company RTM Vital Signs which focuses on the development of a real-time, continuous monitoring system for vital signs of cardiac and respiratory health.
